Donna Warwick's Heart Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
My brother Richard and I are setting up this fundraiser to help support our Mother, Donna Sorlie Warwick. Mom had a very complex open heart surgery on May 9th in Loveland, Colorado. The surgery was a success, but she experienced some complications after surgery which is going to significantly delay her recovery. She has been in the ICU for three weeks while she recovers and will be continuing that recovery in Colorado for several more weeks. She was on a ventilator for a total of 16 days after surgery, and on top of that, each day in ICU will add a week to her recovery time. She is doing well now, but it's going to take lots of time and patience for her to recover. You can read more about her story and see updates at the Caring Bridge website below:
Donna is loved so much by her family, but also by so many good friends back in Montana and beyond. Many of you have been asking us how you can help, so we put together this fundraiser for multiple reasons. It is to help her pay her bills at home and medical expenses not covered by insurance or Medicare while she recovers, so she doesn't need to worry about them. It is also to help pay for home health care and any needed home health care supplies and equipment when she is released from the hospital and recovers here in Colorado.
Thank you in advance for your love, well wishes and support!
