Hi, my name is Brenda Norfleet and I am fundraising for Donna Stefano. Donna was in the middle of her life- working hard at a job she loves, sending her son to Brown University, caring and maintaining her home (in the middle of fixing 2 outdated bathrooms), when she went to emergency because she wasn't feeling well. A large tumor was found in her brain stem. After this discovery her many vague symptoms began to make sense, (loss of hearing, dizziness, balance issues). The good news is that the tumor is operable but the recovery will be long and unpredictable. Donna is no longer planning for her son, her home, her job, she is planning recovery. Family will be able to assist with meals, cleaning, shopping but the worry of financial issues with disability is weighing heavily.
