Donna Murray Memorial Fund
On August 29th, we tragically lost our dearest friend, Donna Murray, after a brief but extremely brave battle with an aggressive form of Metastatic Breast Cancer. Donna was a kind and loving single mother to her two children Erika (20) and Andrew (24), who also just recently lost their father one year ago. Nobody was considered a stranger to Donna. She was a shining star with her bright smile and positive outlook. She would be the first there to help anyone in need and always saw the best in people.
She loved her children unconditionally along with their two (2) rescued cats (Theo & Mika). Donna has been a loyal and faithful friend to so many of us who are absolutely devastated by her sudden loss. Now it’s our turn to make sure her children are taken care of financially as she was the main provider for the family. During her treatments, of which she endured many many months of different chemotherapies, she continued to work until she lost her job in the travel industry due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since Erika and Andrew have lost both parents in such a short time period we are hoping to raise enough money so the kids can continue to live in their childhood home and Erika can continue on with her college education.
We’ve set two (2) goals which are:
$125,000 to help pay the mortgage, utilities and daily household expenses.
$50,000 to help pay for Erika’s Child Advocacy and Policy studies
Please give what you can to help alleviate the financial burdens now faced by these kids at such a very difficult time in their lives. We appreciate your support from the bottom of our hearts.
