Our close friend and my sister, Donna Montgomery, has been beset by a series of health misfortunes that require her to undergo $25,000 in reconstructive dental surgeries. Donna has always worked hard, with a long career at some of the premier high-fashion houses in Boston and New York. She continued to work into her late 70s, out of necessity as a single woman and the desire to remain productive and active.
Recently, Donna suffered a series of falls that have resulted in multiple concussions. Her last, on Halloween, was a very bad face-first fall on a sidewalk that broke four of her teeth near the gum line. To restore her chewing capacity and a close-to-normal appearance, Donna needs at least four significant dental surgeries starting January 12th.
Unfortunately, dental insurance only covers $1,200 and Donna does not have the resources to cover the required surgeries. Donna helped many people throughout her life and career. We hope some of those people can help her now, when she needs it, and others may have kindness and generosity for someone deserving it.
Contributions would be greatly appreciated
Sincerely, Donna's Friends and Family
