Update Donna passed away on the 18/7/25 after a courageous fight, help me give her the send off she deserves her courage is to be admired, forever 43

Hello, My name is Louise,

As most of you will know Donna Marie is my brothers wife she began her battle with cancer in her 30s and since then due to radiotherapy her life has been nothing short of a battle and challenge, she was unable to work and has spent most of the last 5 years with long stays in hospital, Although she was cancer free the treatment left her so very unwell and her having to have bags stoma and urine, her life has been nothing short of constant fight with infections since but she never once gave up the fight.. sadly just recently she was told that she had cancer again and it was terminal, Donna had no life insurance and when they tried to get it after her initial time being diagnosed with cancer and due to the complications of the treatment it was not possible, Donna was offered a new treatment which would maybe give her more time; however she became very unwell with sepsis and wasn’t able to have the treatment by the time she was able to have the treatment sadly it was to late and it did not work, Donna recently went into St Andrews hospice she has hours and at most days left and my brother Kenneth has not left her side in turn nor has her mum, sister or brother, kenneth has his own roofing company he hasn’t been working much at all which I imagine places more burden on him, I was wanting to help in any way possible and I thought maybe a go fund me would support and help him with costs for Donna’s funeral, it is so very sad she is so young with so much yet to live for but I guess life has a plan for us all but right now I’d just like to help my brother in any way possible, his story or journey is not for me to tell but he never gives up and but I just want to help him, so no matter how much every little will help and it would mean the world to me to see him get the help and support he truly deserves, no matter what I raise Donna will still be done proud by Kenneth for her send off of that I know but I’d just like to lessen the load on my brother because he means the world to me ♥️
