Hi, my name is Rubi. I’m a single mother to a beautiful 5-year-old boy and a brave 3-year-old girl who was born with CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia).
I had to resign from my job to care for my daughter full-time. She depends on oxygen 24/7, is tube-fed, takes medication three times a day, and battles serious heart and lung problems. She gets sick very easily, and her care is constant.
I don’t have family nearby, and despite searching, no one wants to hire me due to my responsibilities as a full-time caregiver. We’re struggling to keep up with basic needs—bills, gas, home supplies, clothes, shoes. The weight is heavy, and I’m doing everything I can for my children.
What we need most right now is help—and hope. A job opportunity, a donation, a share... it all matters.
