Donna Ketelsen

Donna Ketelsen was a nurse, a mother, a colleague, a friend.  Our beloved, Donna, 58, unexpectedly passed away on February 23, 2020.  Many of us know Donna through the 30+ years that she served at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital as a nurse.  As she rotated through various departments, she influenced the lives of innumerable patients and hospital staff.  She was more than a colleague; she was a mentor, a friend, a family member.   She was known for her exuberant spirit, her witty humor, her willingness to help and teach, and her compassion.  Most importantly, Donna was known for her motherhood and the support, love, strength, and friendship she provided for her three children, Tristan, Evan and Eric.  Donna often spoke of her children and it was clear that Donna was the pillar of her family.  With her sudden passing, her children are now left to cover the expenses of her loss.  We have created a page in honor of Donna to help cover these costs and lend support to the family of an individual who has changed so many lives.  Thank you for your support and generosity.
