Hello, my name is Haylee Christophe. On 09/21/2023 my grandmother, Donna Keppel O’Reilly passed away from brain cancer. She was diagnosed in July of this year and was told there was nothing that could be done to help her get better. My Grams had just finished her battle with breast cancer after many chemo and radiation treatments not too long before this news. She was doing so much better. She rang the bell, so proud. Unfortunately the cancer had spread to her brain. Grams had breast cancer, not once, not twice, but 3 times. She was a fighter and no matter what life threw at her she continued to stay positive and humble throughout her cancer battle. She had the most amazing outlook on life. She always looked at the bright side and found the good in people. She was the most selfless person I’ve ever known. She made sure the ones she loved were always taken care of, even if she was the one needing care. Her smile was infectious and you couldn’t help but feel loved when in her presence. Her kindness and compassion were unmatched. If you knew Donna, you knew her heart. I had never known someone to be so positive. She had gone through more in her life than anyone should have to go through, and did this while keeping her faith and staying positive and strong for her family. Donna was the the best wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend. She will be missed immensely. My wish is to be able to have a celebration of life in her honor and to have a memorial spot in Woodlawn Cemetery where her family and friends can go visit her. My Grams meant the world to me and it would mean so much for me to be able to have a place where I can go sit and talk with her and for me to be able to bring my son as he grows to visit her. I am forever grateful my Grams was able to meet her great grandson and be apart of his first year of life. I will make sure he knows just how much she loved him. Along with medical expenses, the cost for a celebration of life and a headstone is more than what my father and I can handle financially. I am reaching out for help because I know how much this would mean to my Grams. I pray that with the help of family and friends we will be able to accomplish this and give my Grams the celebration and resting place she deserves. Anything helps❤️ Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God Bless You.
