Supporting Donna Kartes after a house fire
Donation protected
On March 24, Donna Kartes's house caught on fire. She was stuck inside unable to escape. Thankfully a Cavalier County Sheriff Deputies noticed smoke coming from inside the residence. They were able to break down the door and pull her out to safety. Donna is okay and had minor lung irritation from the smoke.
My mom only had a shirt and pants on when she was rescued. Everything she owned was lost including her house, personal belongings, valuables, sentimental items, and cherished memories. If anyone has extra clothes, bedding, towels, or kitchenware they be willing to donate please send me a message. I can be contacted on Facebook or by phone.
The money raised will be used to cover the costs of temporary housing, basic necessities, and eventually, the relocation to a new place. Through this fundraiser, I hope to show my mom that she is not alone in this difficult time and that her community stands by her side.
