Expenses for Donna Dela Pena

For those of you that don't know, my name is Elizabeth Weinberg. My mom, Donna Dela Pena, passed away suddenly on Thanksgiving morning after a 2 day fight in the ICU at Jefferson Bucks. Due to her sudden passing, we were not prepared. Last year, my husband and I bought a house and moved my brother and mom in with us. We were happy to be able to move my mom from her trailer that she had lived in for over 20 years that was literally falling apart around her. She helped my husband and I raise and was an extremely active participant in her great nephew, Mason's life. Three weeks ago, I had my son, Landyn, her first grandson. She waited nine long months to meet him and fortunately was able to spoil and love on him for his two weeks of life before she got sick. Since we were not prepared for her sudden passing, we are asking for donations to help us with her funeral and memorial, as well as helping us with monthly bills until we can figure out how to move forward without her. Since she was disabled and unable to work, she played an extremely important role in the functioning of our household, making sure Mason got to school and always had a well balanced lunch, to helping with maintaining the household and she was supposed to watch Landyn when I went back to work in the New Year. We would love to give her the proper memorial and funeral she deserves, she was always giving everything she had to her friends and family; making sure each one felt loved, especially Mason, Landyn and her great niece, Piper.
