Donna Clute - Medical Care & Future Care

Donation protected
Hey everyone. I appreciate you visiting this page and taking the time to read this. Anyone who knows Donna knows she is energetic, charismatic, witty and full of life. On November 21st, 2022, her life drastically changed.

She woke up with numbness on the right side of her face and thought maybe she had Bell's Palsy. As a former nurse, Donna knew it could be something more serious and went immediately to Hill Country Memorial, where they discovered from a CatScan that she had a blood clot in her carotid artery.

The staff saw this is a life-threatening emergency, and being a small hospital; they were not equipt to handle her condition. She was rushed by ambulance to Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. She had a life-saving procedure; however, the strokes she endured led to severely impaired speech and loss of all feeling on the right side of her body.

Donna is still in the hospital and is currently seeing a physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist, as well as multiple doctors. She will inevitably need long-term care and, unfortunately, does not have medical insurance.

We all know hospital bills and outpatient care is extremely expensive. Any donation adds up, and we are truly grateful for anything you can provide to Donna on this tough road to recovery.

Thank you,
