On Wednesday morning, Oct 25th, Donna Barber Amburn passed away unexpectedly due to complications following a stent procedure. It’s incredibly difficult to find the right words, as everyone is shocked about her untimely passing. Donna did not have a will or life insurance in place so we are creating a GoFundMe to help with her final expenses.
Donna was incredibly kind and smart. She will be greatly missed. She graduated from Ware County High School, earned an accounting degree from the University of Georgia and a teaching degree from Radford University. For the last 13 years she worked at Mary Mac’s Tea Room in Atlanta, where her velvety southern charm and hospitality won over customers and co-workers. She leaves behind son Evan Amburn, daughter Lindsay Mangieri, step-daughter Monica Amburn-Kimbrell, and brother Johnny Barber Sr. She is happily reunited with her late husband, Frank Amburn, as well as mother and father, Edith and TD Barber.
