We are a group of dedicated supporters of an independent and privately funded donkey rescue and sanctuary that provides a forever home to previously mistreated donkeys. The sanctuary is owned licensed and operated by Dan, a Yorkshire man who dedicates his life and works alone to provide these animals with the highest levels of care. We know from personal experience that these donkeys (and rescued dogs) live in safety , receive the best vetinary care, eat the highest quality food, live in immaculately kept and spacious surroundings. The donkeys themselves are beautifully kept and are in superb condition and meticulously and routinely vet checked on a three month cycle. The donkeys also receive professional attention from farriers every six weeks. The costs involved in keeping and caring for, and providing for their every need are astronomically high.
