Hey, It's Tiff and our Mom needs some help. On Monday March 6th, 2023, she went for a doctor's visit and was immediately hospitalized for 12 days due to a severe lack of platelets. While the doctors don't quite know what she has yet, they're sure it's a form of blood cancer based on testing. She was released because her mental state was suffering, but on strict terms to return 3 times per week for multiple blood transfusions.

For those of you that don't know my Mom, she was born and raised in Port Townsend and has always been a strong presence in the community. Whether it was feeding all the neighborhood kids growing up, dressing up as Santa Claus with her sister to deliver toys to kids in need, or feeding everyone at Waterfront Pizza for over 14 years, she always plays the role of Mom, no matter who you are. She is a pillar to her amazing husband Tom, my siblings, her family, friends and four grandchildren. Donita has never asked for help and she's not asking for it now. I'm asking for her.

Donita has been forced into early retirement. The funds we're seeking will help to cover rent and living expenses as she undergoes further testing.
