Hello everyone. The weekend of the 5th and 6th of August, I will be cycling the Donegal 555 in aid of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice. The Donegal 555 is an ultra-endurance bike race that requires cycling 555 kilometres around the Donegal county boundary (or the equivalent of travelling from Kinsale to the Giant's Causeway). The route also involves over 6800 metres of climbing. The aim will be to complete this in under 30 hours.

Marymount is a hospital and hospice providing specialist palliative care to inpatients at the main facility in Curraheen, Cork and home-based patients via the community care team. I have decided to fundraise for Marymount due to the excellent work I have seen first-hand in the past year. Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
