Generator for Grandparents in PR

Since Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico on September 20th, most of the island has been without power.  It is expected that electricity will not be restored for months.

We (myself, along with my family here in the states) are now raising funds to aid in the purchase and shipment of a genearator for my grandparents, Iris and Santos.

If we surpass our goal of $1,500, all additional funds will be used to purchase items such as canned goods, water, dog food, diapers, batteries, etc that will be donated to those in need in my grandparents’ community. My family in Puerto Rico is very lucky, but there are so many people in their community that have lost everything and are now struggling to survive.

We will likely have room in the shipment for at least 400 pounds of extra donations. The shipment will hopefully go out on Thursday, 10/19. If you are able to donate, please do so before then.

Any donation helps and is greatly appreciated. If you would like to donate items, we can likely figure out a way to make that happen.

Thank you.
