On March 8th of 2016 we found out my sister, Denise Keel Moore, had been diagnosed with lung cancer.
Easily treatable, so the doctors told us. Four months from now, you will be cured, so they told us.
Her chemo and radiation treatments started right away. Along with a ton of prayers from family and friends. Denise has been a real trooper!!
On November 8th of 2016 (we thought we were going to watch her ring the "cancer free" bell) the doctor's told us that they did not cure her and her treatments would continue. As many of you can imagine, that was devastating to hear.
Denise has been unable to continue to work her full-time position and, as you can imagine, the medical bills are multiplying.
I know times are hard for everyone, especially with Christmas just around the corner. I am asking, for my sister and her husband, for some help.
I ask that those of you who are able to, please donate, even if just a small amount. Those who cannot, we ask for your continued prayers and to please share this with others that might be able to help out.
My sister is a loving person, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Thank you,
Debra Keel Pfohl
