As some of you know I’m currently volunteering teaching English as well as childcare in a school in a deprived area in Laos. The kids and the teachers are absolutely gorgeous and they come to school from local villages in the mountains where they don’t have the same facilities that we take for granted. They are still so happy and so excited to learn. The classrooms and outdoor area don’t have very much at all, and there is a big hole in the roof so when it rains the classroom gets really wet and damp which obviously isn’t good conditions to learn/play in. Any donations at all would be really appreciated and go a long way to help these children - they could buy some books/toys to play with (they don’t have a lot) and get some things for the garden. They don’t expect anything at all and are so grateful for everything - even something really small is so appreciated. I’m hoping to at least raise enough money to fix the hole in the roof, and then the rest will go towards some toys for the children, books, sand, water area, play do, paint and hopefully some fine&gross motor skills equipment for the garden.
