A sister, teacher, artist, and fierce-hearted soul, Fireweed has always been the one lifting others up. Now, it’s our turn to lift her. At 53, Fireweed is facing a life-threatening heart condition. What started as a routine check-up turned into a devastating diagnosis: three of her heart valves must be replaced, and the fourth needs urgent repair. Likely caused by childhood rheumatic fever, the damage is severe—and her health is rapidly declining. Her only path to survival is open-heart surgery. The good news? Her medical team is confident in the procedure. The hard truth? Fireweed can’t walk this road alone. For the next 6–8 months, she’ll need help covering the essential costs of healing: • Rent and basic living expenses while she’s unable to work • Transportation to and from medical appointments • Post-operative care and professional cleaning support • Medical supplies and recovery-related needs • Financial support for her two sons as they continue their education This campaign is a lifeline.
