Donations to Riley & Children

Friends and family of Riley Kay Talmadge have put together this fundraiser. Riley is mom to Everett O’rion and Elena Rose, two beautiful babies, whose father died by his own hand July 23rd of this year. Clayton Talmadge was the sole provider for Riley and the kids. Unfortunately Clayton did not make the best financial planning decisions, his work history was spotty, and his untimely death has come as both a shock and a hardship for the young family.

Everett is your typical boy, he is three years old and loves monster trucks, mud puddles, Paw Patrol, and camping. His younger sister Elena is his little shadow, liking what he likes, in addition to cheese (who doesn’t love cheese), otter pops, and snorting with laughter when loved ones sniff her cute little head.

Riley and Clayton had issues from the start of their young marriage and it seemed as though they had come to the same conclusion, it was time to move on. Clayton struggled to finish court mandated counseling, however, he had found a new love interest and relations between Riley and Clayton seemed to be improving. The night Clayton passed, it was Riley’s birthday celebration , both Clayton and Riley were present at a local pub to celebrate, and tensions ran high. The two argued and left together.

At their home, the disagreement turned physical and after harsh words were exchanged, Clayton followed through on his threats of self harm, leaving the children without a father and Riley without a co-parent.

Due to the nature of Clayton’s suicide, law enforcement must complete their investigation, and this means the family bank accounts, credit cards, and access to the home and vehicle are denied to Riley and the children, everything was in Clayton’s name only. Riley’s local church has helped out with the funeral expenses, however, the children need essentials such as food, clothing, toys, pre-school items, etc. until the wheels of justice complete their turn.
