Donations to Pastor Paul and Lang

Hello Friends and Family,

 

As many of you may have heard, the church parsonage where my parents lived caught fire yesterday afternoon around 12:30 pm on May 25th. We are very thankful that my parents are safe and unharmed, as this could have been a different outcome. They are still in shock and shaken up but are doing well. Due to the aggressive nature of the fire, they lost everything and unfortunately, nothing was salvageable. They were able to escape with the clothes on their backs and a couple of personal possessions.

 

My parents have been serving as the Pastor at International Rock Church for 20 years and serving the Rockford community for over 30+ years. They have a big heart for those in need – especially new refugees. Many people know my parents as Pastor Paul and Lang, Uncle and Auntie, or Mom and Dad.

 

Fortunately, we can replace the majority of the contents in the home. And then there are the irreplaceable things like our family photos, memories, and sentimental possessions that they’ve accumulated over the years.

 

So many of you have reached out and expressed your love and support and have offered assistance. We have also had several people wanting to donate, so we’ve created a Go Fund Me page to help with their necessities and repurchasing personal items that insurance will not cover.

 

We are very grateful for our family, our church community, friends, neighbors, and everyone who’s offered their assistance. Please continue to pray for my parents as they navigate through this devastating event and attempt to rebuild their lives.

 

My parents have Venmo and Zelle, so please private message me or any of my siblings for their info. Otherwise, you can donate on their Go Fund Me site (they are the beneficiaries).
