Donations to help Miguel Mendiburu
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Hamid and I'm creating this gofundme to help my dear friend and teacher, Miguel Mendiburu in Taray, Peru. Miguel recently returned to his home to find that a robbery had occurred, in addition to damage to his property. Miguel lost around $2k in cash, his Apple laptop, his son's computer and several other very important personal items. The money was being saved to pay off his vehicle and the other items are necessities that Miguel needs to replace. As many of you probably know, this is a significant amount of money in Peru and given his work in service of others, Miguel does not have the financial resources to easily replace everything.
If you have been in any of my offerings, whether musical or ceremonial, then you have received Miguel's teachings and songs through me. I owe much of my life's developments to his guidance and friendship and am honored to help him with this fundraiser. This summer a group accompanied me down to Peru to work with Miguel and everyone had incredible life-changing experiences, including me. I'm continually humbled and inspired by Miguel's presence and spirit and the way he lives his life as a prayer.
There are several ways you can contribute to help Miguel if you feel so inclined. First, if you have the means to contribute anything through this gofundme, I will be sending 100% of the proceeds to Miguel. Even $10-$20 can help enormously. Second, I have created some pieces of art that are available in my Etsy shop, inspired, in part, by my experiences with Miguel. For the months of October and November I will be donating 100% of the proceeds of all sales from my Etsy shop towards this cause. Grab yourself a print or sticker and know that all the revenues are going to a great cause. My Etsy shop can be found at this link.
If you would like to help but do not have the financial means, then please send your prayers and feel free to share about this fundraiser in your community. All help, even of the energetic type, is appreciated.
