Donations to help Alexis, Dj, Thea and Vallie!

Hello! For those who do not know me, I am Kara Smith, the sister of Dj Smith, in-law of Alexis Page, and auntie to their two most precious baby twin girls. Thea Marie and Vallie Lynn ♥️ On June 14th, Alexis went into labor at only 28 weeks pregnant and had an emergency c-section. Prior to delivery, they knew Vallie had a very rare defect called Esophageal Atresia. This means her esophagus didn’t connect and grow properly as it should to her stomach. Not only was it not connected to her stomach, it was attached to her trachea making this a very rare case of this specific defect. She JUST had her surgery this past Monday 9/11 to fix her defect, but still has a long road to recovery in the NICU before she can finally come home.. Alexis is currently staying with family in Syracuse with Thea, and just 5 minutes away from the hospital spending every moment she can with Vallie at Crouse. Meanwhile, DJ is working 2-3 different jobs back home (Binghamton), and making constant trips from home to Syracuse and doing all he can to support all 3 of his girls! ♥️ That being said, I am sure (as we all can probably imagine) bills, gas, and money have all been a burden at this time. Alexis is able to return back to work in November, however, she will not be able to because of Vallie still recovering and being unsure of a release date. They are incredible and would never ask anyone for help and are continuing to be such a strong little family. ♥️ Any donation helps and every donation is appreciated!!
