Donations to Fred Vaughn’s Funeral Arrangements

My dad, Fred J Vaughn 78, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from a sudden heart attack at Shands UF, Gainesville, FL. My dad was the most amazing dad,  husband and friend in the entire world. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it more than he did. He loved his family, the outdoors and working in his workshop. He was so funny. He could always brighten the room with jokes. He was married to my mom for 55 years. They had the role model marriage that I can only dream to have one day. We miss him dearly and hope he is at peace with all the suffering he had.

This is the LAST thing I thought I’d have to do. Funeral costs were higher than expected. My mom had a small life insurance policy for my Dad but it is not enough to cover the amount needed for his funeral viewing and service. We are $2500 short and could really use donations to help finish his arrangements. If you are planning to send floral arrangements, we ask you please send a cash   donation instead.
