Donations to Adam & Donna Starkey

A lot of people have been messaging concerned about Adam and what’s going on. He’s been in the hospital for the last 5 days over his heart. . For some of you that don’t know the just: Adam has been a local pharmacist for the past 20 plus years, about a year and a half ago he developed pneumonia and it attacked his heart. His doctor was in Pittsburgh, he was making many trips there for this condition. He is in congestive heart failure with an ejection fraction level at 10%, Which is very critically low. He’s had so many different episodes, medications trying to be balanced, his blood pressure too high/too low, depression, & he’s only 42 years old! Friday night, my mom took my sister to dance class came home and found him in so much pain and looked like he was beaten. We didn’t know what happened!! He had fallen and had no recollection of anything. Saturday she took him to Mon General, thought he had broken his arm, and ribs. His eye was black and possibly a concussion, all of this because of his heart, according to his cardiologist. After all of the testing they decided yesterday to install a recording device to monitor him before putting a defibrillator in. Last night, three different times his resting beat was 160’s. Cardiologist had the nurse call my mom to tell her they were going forward with the defibrillator, he also mentioned a heart transplant could be in the near future! So, tonight he’s resting and hopefully he will be discharged tomorrow.
  Adam can’t work anymore. He’s having a very hard time with accepting that. His medication he needs monthly for his heart or he will die is 1200$!  They have put their house up for sale, financially they are stressed and drained. I normally despise these gofund me pages because I feel like they are made for silly things sometimes but I guess there’s good in everything too. If you are able to donate, they need help! They are stressed over house payments.  If anything please share and pray for strength! It’s going to be a long road!
