NEWSLETTER: GREETINGS & UPDATE FROM THE WOODS FAMILY!!
Since the kidney transplant in December of 2024 we have mostly all been pursuing & choosing Joy In Jesus. With the new normal of some complications with weekly variable labs, exams, adjusting daily pills, research and doctor appointments. This has been a full time job AGAIN this year in 2025! At the same time catching up on all things from the last 2-3 years on top of our regular daily way of life. While also working as we can on customer projects during construction season. We had an all around rough month in August with some health complications from the transplant. We were also able to do other small but meaningful things with our children as a family and had fun finally not being strapped to a dialysis chair!
Over the years I have seen healing naturally in faith on The Word Of God. Went stage 5 to 3 on fast, cleanse & diet. Then got pilled by doctor/pa & tanked back to end stage kidney disease. Labeled as “non-compliant” to the system with a willing matched donor ready to give a kidney. Pushed to dialysis had congestive heart failure!
While praying for Jesus’ Healing and or God’s Will To Be Done.
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing (on Jesus), ye shall receive. Matthew 21:22 KJV. Started thinking after the transplant more about what all happened the last few years and definition & understanding of God’s will found in The Preserved Word Of God.
-->Then also remembered what Jesus said in John 15 KJV and all the believers that loved my family and I many ways with selfless sacrifices of love to help me. With others that wanted to or were guided to care and help us along the way.

UPDATE #1: Travis now has his mother's donated kidney in him and he will be carrying her with him forever!! Her selfless sacrifice reminds us of what Jesus did for us all sacrificing Himself on the cross for our sins so we can have eternal life if we believe. Cindy gave Travis life twice now almost just like God & Jesus did when he was born and born again.
They had the kidney transplant surgery in December, and they are both doing fine enough recovering with GOOD kidney function right away! Amazing, Praise God!

PLEASE continue to Pray & Donate so we can afford this very costly procedure & process still adding up. Travis will have a lot of lab work, procedures & doctor appointments in the next year to watch his health and help get him out of the woods with hopefully no kidney rejection. Pray for good health & blessings for Travis & his mother Cindy. Travis has at least four painful procedures to go through still. He is now also on lifelong pills that suppress his immune system with side effects and higher risks for infection & cancer.
So pray for all that too!!

THE NEED: Born again as Christian A.K.A. Travis Woods 37 years old, his two young children and wife are needing donations for expensive lifesaving healthcare. He’s on dialysis and needs a Kidney Transplant. His mother is approved as the kidney donor. Assurance funds needed for dialysis, surgery, travel, lodging, food and all expenses. There is no kidney transplant hospital in Montana so they have to travel for the surgery and stay near hospital for the healing process and follow up appointments. This means since dialysis lots of expenses and lost wages to support the family through this whole process. Trying to raise $70,777 for costs.
THE WEAK & ILL: He got diagnosed with kidney disease in 2009 with a GFR of near 59 (which indicates CKD) unexpectedly as being somewhat young and healthy. His health slowly declined and progressed with side effects. He got diagnosed with IGA Nephropathy which was "triggered" by a cold virus in about 2003 after taking an antibiotic supposably. He had good success reversing it from Stage 5 to Stage 3 towards the end of 2021 with prayer and a low protein gluten free organic vegetarian diet as, “Food Is Your Best Medicine”. Then IGA Nephropathy ran its course along with the pills and side effects, he got dragged off the jobsite to the hospital to start dialysis with an emergency tunneled chest catheter in October of 2023. He then developed Heart Failure after starting dialysis in December, which has reversed by June 2024. The family has had many blessings and tribulations through this process spiritually, mentally and physically. They have seen God working. “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;” -Romans 12:12 KJV. He has had many health issues along the way on dialysis too. Since on dialysis he needs to travel from the mountains of Rural Montana 2 hours each way 3 days a week to sit in the dialysis chair for at least 4 hours each day. “I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” -Acts 20:35 KJV He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. -Proverbs 19:17 KJV
BACKGROUND BIO: Travis is an Independent Fundamental Believer Christian, Family Man with his Wife the high school sweetheart, Mountain Man, Hunter & Fisherman, Journeyman Carpenter In The Master’s Trade (through the original four year degree) and a General Contractor at Woods Construction typically concentrating on Woods Cabins Ministry. “Preparing Souls With Salvation For Jesus’ Return.” Cabins come with The Authorized Version KJV Holy Bible and a Wood Stove.
SAFE BLOOD BANK NEEDED TOO: Funds also needed for "Safe Blood Bank" for upcoming surgery too. He has a "Blood Brother" or more if needed that will bank for him currently.
