Rally for Tiffany!
Hi my name is Rhonda. My Niece Tiffany, a 31 year old mother of 2; Braidyn 8 and Zay 4, was in a terrible car accident three weeks ago. The driver fell asleep at the wheel while driving down the freeway. The vehicle veered off the road into a gully and hit a tree. Tiffany was pinned underneath the vehicle, resulting in her being paralyzed from the waist down. Tiffany has undergone two very expensive surgeries. Tiffany is now ready to move on to her next phase of recovery, which is physical therapy. This is crucial, as she will need it to help her become independent. She will continue to do outpatient treatment and hopefully regain feeling back in her legs over time.
Our goal is to bring Tiffany home to be around her family and to get her the treatment she needs to move forward. It will be a long road to recovery. She will need to live with her mother Marla, who currently lives in a 250sq studio apartment on the third floor, with no elevator, and can’t accommodate Tiffany’s medical condition. My sister, who is 62, is disabled and lives on a very limited budget. We are asking for help to defray the cost of the upcoming immediate expense.
We have approximately 3 weeks at which time we need to have a place ready for her to live, hopefully closer to home and family which will make the recovery process easier.
Tiffany will need medical transportation from Seattle to Portland, which will cost roughly $2000. In addition, once here, they will require the basic necessities to sustain a household such as furniture, kitchenware, etc. They will need to ensure the home is wheelchair accessible.
First and foremost we ask for your prayers for Tiffany. She has a long road ahead of her. Also, for her mother Marla, as she cares for her and her children as they adjust to a new normal.
I can’t begin to express how grateful we would be for any support. Donating and sharing this GoFundMe with your social network would mean so much. We appreciate you. May God bless you and keep your family safe!
