Hi, My name is Susan and I'm fundraising for Paul Carter.

Hello to All,

I am starting this GoFundMe for a very dear friend and colleague Paul Carter, who suffered a massive stroke, the day before Thanksgiving.

I truly believe,because of his true nature of putting good Karma out in the world, by helping anyone in need, that it came back to him.

On the Morning of Wednesday 11/22/23 Paul was dropping his brother in law off at home, after bringing him to his early morning appointment,

and was heading back home to help his wife Kelly get ready to prepare food

( anyone that knows Paul, knows his love of cooking delicious meals) for Thanksgiving. At a stop light, close to home, he had a massive stroke. A random stranger saw him unresponsive at the stop light, and called 911. After arriving at the local hospital, they had determined that if not for this good citizen, he would not have survived. The local hospital medical team transferred Paul to a Boston Hospital, to ensure he got the best care possible and the procedures that only the best hospitals can perform.

As many will know, Paul is an independent contractor. He has been a mortgage lender for decades and is unable to work for the forseeable future.

His current employer has been wonderful helping to close all Paul's current client's mortgages.

Paul will need extensive rehabilitation once he gets out of the hospital, and his wife Kelly, is his primary caregiver.

Paul will need someone with him daily during his healing.

This GoFundMe will help take the financial burden of medical care not covered by insurance, and daily needs from loss of work for both of them.

I understand that everyone is struggling during this economy, but every little bit helps. If you can not help financially, please know that prayers and good thoughts go a long way too.
