My name is Anna Sisco. I am from Nova Scotia, Canada and I am raising money for displaced men, woman and children in Gaza. This is a family who I care deeply about and communicate with daily. I know their situation is dire, so please give what you can to help.

*Help a Family in Gaza Rebuild Their Life and Care for Their Sick Child*

We are a family of four from southern Gaza. My name is Maha Ahmad, 38 years old, a former English teacher. My husband, Mahmoud Ahmad, also 38, worked as a taxi driver before the war. We have two sons: Hamza (15 years old, Grade 7) and Qusai (11 years old, Grade 5).

Before the war, our life was simple, full of love, learning, and hard work. But everything changed.

On *December 22, 2023*, an airstrike destroyed our home in Khan Younis. The strike targeted my uncle’s nearby house, but our home was completely reduced to rubble. Along with it, we lost everything we had—our memories, our dreams, our livelihood.

Since the war began, all schools in Gaza have been destroyed. Our children can no longer attend school. I lost my teaching job. My husband’s car—our only source of income—was destroyed in the bombing. Today, we are displaced, with no income, no home, and no way to provide for our children.

My eldest son, *Hamza*, suffers from *partial brain atrophy* due to a lack of oxygen at birth. He urgently needs medication and treatment, but we can no longer afford even basic food, let alone medical care.

Prices in Gaza have skyrocketed—flour, rice, and vegetables are now luxuries we can’t reach. Every day is a battle to survive.

We are asking for your support to help us:
- Buy food and medicine for our children
- Rebuild our life with dignity
- Provide Hamza with the medical care he desperately needs

Any amount you give makes a difference. We will include photos of our destroyed home and Hamza’s medical reports. Please don’t turn away. Gaza is suffering, and we need your compassion now more than ever.

From the bottom of our hearts, *thank you*.
