Support for the Vargas Melo Family During This Difficult Time

On August 15, 2025, at 6:55 a.m., at Clínica Meta, our beloved Juan Manuel Vargas Melo passed away due to complications from polymyositis. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments and passed away peacefully. Our family is heartbroken and still trying to process this tremendous loss.

Juan Manuel was a fighter — a father, brother, son, and friend. He was a larger-than-life person who lived without fear and without judgment. Even in pain, he cared deeply for others, always doing his best to support people emotionally and spiritually. He put others before himself, showing endless love and generosity to those around him. He will be honored and remembered by his son, Juan Esteban Vargas Martinez, and his siblings, Patricia, Henry, and Maribel.

We are reaching out for support as the funeral expenses and memorial arrangements have been deeply felt by the Vargas Melo family. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward easing this financial burden so that we can focus on honoring and remembering Juan Manuel Vargas Melo with love and dignity.

El 15 de agosto de 2025, a las 6:55 a.m., en la Clínica Meta, nuestro amado Juan Manuel Vargas Melo falleció debido a complicaciones de la polimiositis. Estuvo rodeado de sus seres queridos en sus últimos momentos y partió en paz. Nuestra familia está con el corazón destrozado y aún tratando de asimilar esta gran pérdida.

Juan Manuel fue un luchador — padre, hermano, hijo y amigo. Fue una persona más grande que la vida misma, que vivió sin miedo y sin juicios. Incluso en el dolor, se preocupaba profundamente por los demás, siempre haciendo lo posible por brindar apoyo emocional y espiritual. Ponía a los demás antes que a sí mismo, mostrando un amor y una generosidad infinitos hacia quienes lo rodeaban. Será honrado y recordado por su hijo, Juan Esteban Vargas Martínez, y por sus hermanos, Patricia, Henry y Maribel.

Estamos pidiendo apoyo ya que los gastos funerarios y del memorial han sido una carga muy sentida para la familia Vargas Melo. Cualquier donación, sin importar la cantidad, irá directamente a aliviar esta carga financiera para que podamos enfocarnos en honrar y recordar a Juan Manuel Vargas Melo con amor y dignidad.
