Support Shuai Attending Core Group Retreats 2025

Dear Global Core Group members,

as you know, Shuai needs our support to attend this year's Core Group onsite retreats. Shuai has calculated to need 4,000 Euro to cover the costs for attending both onsite retreats in 2025:

Travel tickets and visa application fee are around 750 euros per time, 1,500 euros in total; Accommodation, ground transportation and food for the days in Europe other than the retreats are around 500 euros per time, 1,000 euros in total; and finally, accommodation, food and tuition are around 750 euros per in-person retreat in June & September, totalling 1,500 euros.

The money transfer to his Chinese bank account is somewhat tedious and incurs conversion and transaction fees, the latter being disproportionally higher for smaller amounts.

Thus, some of us had the idea to set up this Euro-based GoFundMe page to allow to collect donations in Euro. Then we could send the amount needed to buy plane tickets in one larger batch to Shuai.

In Europe, we will use your donations to pay for retreat fees prior to his arrival in Europe and transfer them to Shuai to allow him to pay his onsite fees at the retreat.
