Donations in memory of Matthew (Matt) Stavis

My dear friend Matthew Stavis unexpectedly passed away on Memorial Day. He was talented, creative, generous and so much more.

Below are some of the touchingly beautiful things those who were a part of the diverse community of amazing souls that surrounded him have shared with us about Matt:

- I recall his humor, sweetness and kindness.

- There are countless other Matt stories highlighting the goodness he brought to all of us. We were blessed to have him in our community.

- Such a talented, creative and giving person. Taken from us way too soon.

- Matthew had a big and kind heart, always ready to step up and help out a friend in need.

He had an enthusiasm that bubbled over into any project he put his mind to.

- He was wildly talented and sweet and wickedly funny.

This is a fundraiser on behalf of his dad Paul and his sister Kat, to help cover them costs of his final expenses, including clearing out his apartment, so that the Stavis family won't have to go into debt to do so.

Like Matthew, Kat is amazingly kind, extremely generous, and extraordinarily caring; always doing for and giving to others never asking for anything but perhaps some gratitude in return.
