In March, Wynette suffered a serious fall down a flight of stairs that left her with injuries severe enough to prevent her from working. Since then, she has been relying on unemployment benefits while attending ongoing medical appointments and trying to recover.

During follow-up care related to her injuries, doctors discovered pelvic cancer. She is now facing an entirely new and overwhelming journey, including upcoming appointments with specialists off-island, additional testing, and treatment plans that are still uncertain.

At this time, we do not know how long it will take for her to be seen, how extensive treatment will be, or when she may be able to return to work. With her unemployment benefits ending soon, the financial stress is becoming overwhelming on top of everything else she is facing.

We are asking for donations of any amount to help ease the burden during this difficult time. Funds will go toward:

* Travel expenses for medical appointments and treatments

* Accommodation and transportation costs off-island

* Everyday living expenses while unable to work

* Helping bridge the financial gap until she can return to work
