Trinity Cornish, a 13 year old with downsyndrome caught the flu very bad this year which caused her to end up heading to the hospital on January 21st.  When arriving at the hospital her oxygen was in the very low 60s and her heart rate was hitting over 120bpm. The doctors decided she would need to be instantly transported to Golisano Childrens Hosptial in Rochester, NY where her and her family have been since. The doctors there started out trying nose oxygen hoses, bipaps, and c-paps. Just when we all thought she was going better, on January 25th Trinity took a turn for the worse and became unresponsive as her stats dropped extremely fast. Thankfully after being sedated and given a breathing tube and a couple more ivs and medications the doctors were able to bring her stats back up to where she was stable again.  They now know that it has turned into pneumonia and are trying to pay close attention to her lungs to help clear them up. With trinity sedated they hope that she can rest a bit and remain more comfortable, but have made her parents aware that they will be staying sedated the hospital for quite a long time. With all of this being said we are asking for any and all donations anyone is willing to give as being unable to work, paying for food and transportation back and forth, medical expenses, pet and children care, hospital parking and much more is quickly adding up.
