Friends and Ford City family gather to support the life and family of Dustin Wood, whom succumbed to the deadly Coronavirus disease following a strenuous fight. Due to a pre-existing work-related lung disease, Dustin was not strong enough to survive his COVID hospital stay, returning to our Lord, December 8, 2021. Dustin leaves behind 2 children, Taylor and Spencer, whom he dedicated his life to co-parenting with their mother, Denise Spencer. Dustin was with Taylor as she graduated college mere hours after her father's death, and Spencer continues to complete his college journey. Dustin provided a home for his children between their college endeavors, where they hope to remain following this difficult transition. He dedicated his life as a stay at home dad when his health didn't allow for him to work outside the home. He instilled compassion, love, and support in the hearts of his children.

Currently, Dustin's children are attempting to cover expenses of Dustin’s funeral, medical bills, and to continue managing their father's home as part of their future. Sadly, Dustin did not anticipate leaving his children at during their young adulthood, and had no preparations for funeral expenses and was unable to carry life insurance due to his pre-existing lung conditions.

We invite friends, family and church patrons as a whole to help support Dustin's children move forward following a tragic loss during an unforgiving pandemic. They are both beautiful souls with a solid faith and strong foundation in church. They are experiencing a great loss, any amount you can spare to aid them financially will be deeply appreciated, as neither would ask for assistance in a time of need. Let us help them move forward in seeing the love still available within our community.
