When Byron Letcher was out of state at a work conference in February, he was assaulted walking back to his hotel after dinner. After weeks in the ICU, he was medically transported back to Chicago to start inpatient, neuro rehab. He is making strides and will be discharged to outpatient rehab later this spring.

Jennie has taken on her new normal of advocating and supporting Byron with the strength of a warrior. She is also caring for their three children and trying to provide a sense of normalcy at home -- in addition to working full-time.

While they can't wait to bring Byron home, with that comes more medical care, greater unknowns, and additional needs. With the outpouring of support from the Lechter's friends who want to help, we set up this GoFundMe page.
