The Mt. Vernon Class of 1998 asks you to please help if you can.
Our classmate and friend, Rubin Earl recently lost his beloved fiancé, after a long hard battle with cancer. Kirsten Jae Harless entered into the Heavenly Kingdom on August 29, 2020 at the very young age of 35.
A bit more about Kirsten, courtesy of The Mitchell Republic - Kirsten lived in Plankinton all of her life, graduating from Plankinton High School. Kirsten lived life to its fullest spending time with her fiance Rubin Earl and their two young children Gable and Ryne. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching Rubin play baseball and of course shopping. Her battle with cancer started in 2012 when she was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called adenoid cystic carcinoma. She never gave up, she was an inspiration to us all.
Please do what you can to support Rubin and his family during this extremely difficult time.
