Donations for the Hannon family

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a friend and colleague of Jeanne Hannon. Many know that Jeanne and Jay’s daughter Ellie is very sick at MUSC. On Nov 3rd Jeanne took Ellie to the ER after being sick for less tha. 24 hours. Ellie was sedated, intubated, and flown to MUSC. She was diagnosed with the flu, pneumonia and Strep A. The struggle with sepsis pushed her into Multi System Organ Failure affecting her heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver as well as plummeting her white cells and platelets. She is beginning her road to recovery and was able to be weaned off the ventilator today. While this is a wonderful, positive step, she still has a long road ahead of her. She has received platelet transfusions, Iv antibiotics and had a chest tube inserted last night. During all of this, Jeanne, Jay and even Killian have been by her side in Charleston. I have been asked multiple times what can be done to help them. We all feel helpless but I can only imagine that financially, this will take a toll on this family. Neither Jeanne or Jay have been able to work and will not likely be back to work for another couple weeks. Therefore, I believe what will benefit them most is a fundraiser to assist with their costs of living out of town, loss of income and medical bills. Any amount of donation to their cause would be appreciated. All proceeds will go directly to Jeanne and Jay to help support their continued stay with Ellie.
