It is with a heavy heart we must say our “see ya later” to our brother Bama, President of the Ventura, California Chapter who passed suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday the 6th of August 2023.

Bama’s love for life and our mission was infectious. He pursued both with passion and enthusiasm that was inspiring and motivating. A great joy for Bama was being President of the Ventura Chapter but even more than that, being a primary to a child.

Bama is survived by his wife “Brakes”, also a B.A.C.A. member, two daughters, two stepdaughters and three grandchildren as well as two brothers and two sisters. And of course, his very large B.A.C.A. family.

We are asking our B.A.C.A. family to come together and help Brakes and the girls with the unexpected costs that come up during this difficult time.
