Donations for the Dougherty'sWe have started this go fund me for a part of our Work family that has recently had some life changing events happen to them.2020 has been a challenging year for us all please take a moment to read our friends story. In July Chris had a stroke followed up by two heart attacks and advanced heart failure. It ended up leaving Chris's heart pumping at 14% and now has to wear a defibrillator vest 24/7. After nearly a month and a half in the ICU and hospital he has finally returned home. A few weeks ago they discovered Chris also has a very rare and aggressive cancer called Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma. He currently is scheduled to have his right leg amputated in mid September before it has the opportunity to spread. Because his heart is so weak it is an incredibly risky procedure. Through this time Chris and his family (Wife-Lynn, Daughter-Olivia and Son-Jake ) want to Thank family and friends whohave prayed for them and help them during this new and uncharted territory in their lives. This go fund me will help with the flood of medical bills that will be headed their way. And will also help with the expenses of this new lifestyle that Chris and his family face. He will be in need of a scooter/Wheelchair now to get around and will also have to make changes to the house to make it more user-friendly for Chris. (Ramp to get in and out of the hous and bars around the house to help him transition from chair to seats, bed, bathroom etc.). Chris and his family remain positive and grateful for the wonderful love and support they have received. If we can make this time a little easier for them that would mean the world. Thank you
