Donations for the DeGroat Family

On Saturday Nov 18, 2023 my family got a devastating call. My cousin Michael and his friend were going out for the day they were traveling down route 284 when a 23 year old girl hit them head on. My cousin was airlifted to Morristown hospital with serious injuries. He’s currently suffering from severe head trauma and is in the pediatric ICU. The bleeding on his brain has stopped but there is still swelling which makes it very hard for him to respond correctly when they turn his sedation medicine off. Michael is still on sedation medication as of today Nov 20th and still has a breathing tube. Michael is a strong 18 year old young man with the biggest heart he will come out of all this stronger than ever we have faith in him. Unfortunately during this devastating time bills, rent and food don’t stop. My uncle and aunt can not work right now do to being with Michael and fulfilling the needs of their youngest son. I’m asking everyone to please share or even donate anything will help.
