On Friday, December 2nd, the Barbee family experienced the utmost heart breaking loss of the head of our family, Wayne Barbee.
Announcing the passing of my Father has not come without great difficulty. Hearing of his departure from Earth to Heaven was the most heart breaking words I've had to hear in my life. He was given 6 months to live after his stage 4 brain cancer diagnosis... that was 3 years ago. You prepare yourself for something like this but then it just hits you like a bus and you can't talk or breath at all. It's not until you really think and feel that God has taken him under his loving care and that he fought the good fight for HIM and for all of us that you can breathe in a sigh of relief and smile. He can be with his Mother (my grandma Barbee) now and I can imagine all of the Heavens celebrating his arrival. He must have been a legend up there with how proudly he ministered to all. I love him with all of my heart; he is my aspiration, and hes always been my hero. I strive to be the person that he always saw me to be. He always looked at me as if I was the purest angel.
I set up this account for my Mother as she experiences the loss of her best friend/soulmate/entire world, as a means for those who expressed that they wanted a way to help.
