It is with heavy heart we announce the passing of our beautiful aunt, sister and friend Rosa Cubias Zelaya. On August 1st 2020 at approximately 9:00PM Rosa was walking to her Hempstead home and was struck by an SUV. Despite the first responders efforts, she tragically passed away on the scene. Rosa came to this country to live the American dream and unfortunately it was cut short. During this tragedy we are asking for any donations to help cover funeral expenses for our beloved Rosa. We the Zelaya family would be truly grateful for any donations made. 


Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra bella tía, hermana y amiga Rosa Cubias Zelaya. El 1 de agosto de 2020, aproximadamente a las 9:00 p.m., Rosa caminaba hacia su casa de Hempstead y fue golpeada por un SUV. A pesar de los esfuerzos de los primeros en responder, ella falleció trágicamente en la escena. Rosa vino a este país a vivir el sueño americano y desafortunadamente se truncó. Durante esta tragedia, estamos pidiendo donaciones para ayudar a cubrir los gastos del funeral de nuestra amada Rosa. Nosotros, la familia Zelaya, estaríamos verdaderamente agradecidos por cualquier donación realizada.
