Losing a loved one is like having the rug swept from under you. We make plans for the day , and do not think twice about how those plans can be taken away in the blink of an eye. I never thought much about it myself, until I was faced with the shock , and undeniable truth of my brothers sudden death. Roman was a son, brother, uncle and friend that was taken away from us so quickly and without a warning. He was such a loving, fun , caring guy who would do anything for anyone. Everyone knows that losing a loved one is a difficult situation. However , when you lose a loved one at a young age , it is very difficult as well as very unexpected so I’m here writing this to ask you all for help for the expenses of my brothers wake and funeral. We were not prepared to say goodbye to Roman and are facing financial difficulties. It was a normal Friday night July 11th Roman was going out with some friends to enjoy his weekend. We received a call Saturday morning that would change our lives forever. Roman never made it to his car to home, his friends found him laying in the grass. Roman had suffered a severe heart attack that morning that stopped his heart and blood flow to his brain which caused the brain to be without oxygen for 12 minutes. The paramedics rushed him to McNeal hospital where they performed numerous tests and did absolutely everything they could do to help Roman. Unfortunately the lack of oxygen to his brain caused Roman to become brain dead. We have made the hardest decision of our lives to let the amazing man we all love and cherish become an Angel. Those who knew Roman even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Roman will be missed everyday. We will announce the wake and funeral plans July 26 as we are preparing for this tragic event that suddenly effected us deeply.
