Its taken me some time to get this going, for I usually do not like asking for help- but this time, its something Rex and I need all the support we can get.

Over the weekend Rexie got into an accident with another puppy pal of ours and long story short- he may lose his right eye. 

Went to the vet for the "proptosed" eye and he was in surgery for about 2-3 hours.  Although very hopeful, I believe his eye may no longer serve him the way it used to. The vets gave me some medicine for pain, inflammation, and some "eye lube", but it doesn't look too much better.

To save myself and Rex the current hardship of dealing with his eye, or "globe out of socket" and possible infection- I have decided I believe it would be best for another surgery to just completely remove the globe. 

He'll be a pirate Rex

I have no idea what his costs will be, but anything we raise will go towards his surgery and for Rex and his recovery.

His next vet visit is sometime this week, but due to my current financial situation, I can't get him in soon enough. 

As many, if not all of you, know, Rex means the world to me. He is my baby, my fire, and quite literally my best friend. Ive had him all his life and essentially all mine too. We've been on countless adventures and he's met some pretty amazing souls, who I know he loves very much.  If he has ever brought you joy and kisses and love... please consider what you can, anything helps <3
