My name is Eric. As some may know, my mother, Peggy, had to have an unexpected emergency major surgery on Thursday May 11, to repair a bowel perforation. At the moment, she is expected to be in the hospital for a week and then will have to be home for another week. From there, the Dr. will make a decision on clearing her to return to work, but she will be limited by the amount of weight she will be allowed to lift. The Dr. placed an ostomy bag, but luckily he said she will be able to get it removed in 6-8 weeks. This was completely unexpected and will be a bit of an extensive recovery. She is not expected to go through PT though.

My brother, sister, and I are doing what we can for her. I’m not a person to ask for much but this will all go to her. We don’t want her to stress on trying to get back to work before she is ready. Unfortunately, the upcoming medical bills will be out of pocket. Any donation given will help her with any upcoming personal and medical bills. She has done so much for us kids and setting this up is the least we can do for her. God Bless All.
