Pamela has been in a bad car accident. She was wearing a seatbelt which saved her life, but unfortunately caused internal damage to her abdomen and spine in the process. She is currently intubated and in the Trauma ICU recovering from her injuries. She does not have health insurance at this time and she does not qualify for Medicaid. She will require a few more surgeries, and it will be costly. As much as we hate to ask for help we live in a country with extremely high healthcare costs. 

As all of you know, Pamela has been an advocate for animals and people her whole life. She has volunteered so much of her time to help others and she has always fought for people and animals that face injustices. Pamela has actively fought for women's rights, Black Lives Matter Movement, LGBTQIA, human rights, and animal rights. She is such a kind and genuine person. If you know Pamela, you know that she would do anything in her power to help someone in need. She has lived her life selflessly for others, and now she is the one that needs help.
