Hello My name is Lisa, I’m hoping to get some donations to put towards our beautiful boy Peters vet bill. Peter went missing 7days ago. We heard through lost cat groups that a cat fitting his description was hit by a car on Woodside road so we had been searching every day around that area to find him. Put posters up went to all possible sightings which no luck. Then yesterday mid morning my daughter found him on the lounge sofa like nothing had happened. At first he looked ok but he was struggling to weight bare. We could see he’d been in an accident his claws were broken, he had dragged himself back home to us. We took him straight to the vets for emergency appointment where he had been put on an IV for fluids, pain relief and required X-rays. He suffered a broken pelvis in 3 places, dislocated leg, and a broken leg. The vet gave options but this would have resulted in amputation and internal issues for the rest of his life. We all agreed that sadly it was fair for him to live that way. He was put to sleep at 5:20pm 24th march. Around his loved ones. Believe me this was not an easy choice to make because he fought so hard for 7 days to come home to us, to help him and comfort him. He was a loveable cat and we will miss him dearly. He would of turned 4 in 2 months, we would never have imagined having such a short time with him. He was born on my lap, his mother Smudge delivered all her kittens with me helping. We only kept him and we named him after our daughters granddad who had sadly passed at the time. Peter brought them a lot of joy at that time.

so as you can imagine when we received our vet bill it was just another blow for us. Currently £1,068.00 but I would do it again. We’re not expecting anything from anyone but a dear friend suggested to give go fund me a try even if it’s small amount to help towards it we would be grateful.
