Support for Myriam Ayala's Breast Cancer Battle

Hi everyone!

 

My name is Gabriela Ayala and my brother is Alexander Ayala. We are so proud to say we are the son and daughter of the strongest woman we both know, our mom, Myriam.

 

Our mother has been an inspiration for us our whole lives. Because of her, we are both blessed to work in education and share our passions as she has her whole career. During 2007, she battled her first round of breast cancer, and won! We have been blessed to grow with her and experience different things in life.

 

Yet sometimes, life has other plans.

In March of this year, our beautiful mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, which has metastasized to her bones. It has been heartbreaking news. Unfortunately, with MBC, the treatments will continue for her whole life to ensure the cancer does not spread to other areas of her body.

 

Although we have been devastated by this news, our mom is grateful for all the support she has received from many family and friends.

 

Within the short amount of time she has had this diagnosis, over the counter medication, ER trips, and more have caused medical bills to start rolling in, something our mom should not have to worry about.

All donations will be going to costs associated with mom's treatment, as this is only the beginning of her journey. Any financial stress is something we'd like to help our mother with so she may use her strength to battle this disease. 

 

Alex and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the communication, prayers, thoughts and donations. There is so much more we wish we could do for mom, but this is one way we chose to show her she is supported and LOVED, to show her people care for her.
