Donations for my Pup's (Benji) Mass Tumour Surgery

A little bit of my story--

Hi my name is Daniela Hernandez. I am 13 years old and a current 8th Middle School Student. I am the girl in the picture with the orange shirt, next to me is my beloved pup Benji. She is 7 years old. Her birthday just passed (August 13, 2013) a few months ago and marked a huge milestone in my relationship with her. Benji loves to roll in the grass on a rainy day. Her hair usually gets really wet and flops down to her sides making her look real silly!  She always cuddles in her favorite santa claus blanket. Knowing this about her isn't really important to know, but it is for me. She has been my only dog that has been with me through the many rough times a person can face in their life time. Since the age of 6 when I received Benji as a gift, as a companion for life, she has brought many joys and happiness to my somewhat dull life. 7 years of life, 7 years of laughs, 7 years of love.  All of this has come out of my small pup. Then came that dreadful day of sorrow. I noticed that Benji wasn't acting like her normal self. She kept wanting to lay down on her blankets, and rarely had the energy to walk to her bowl of food. I felt uneasy trying to pet her becaus she would growl and snarl. That's when I see the tumor at the side of her stomach. I was frantic calling the veterinarian. They had me come in the same day and leave her there for some exams. I was at home with my father, watching the T.V when they called him. They informed us that she had breast cancer and the malignant tumour was growing. We were left with two options; an expensive  mass removal surgery, or euthanisia. I cried in the extreme desperation. No one should ever have to choose over a family meal or surgery costs for their afflicted dog. That's why I am asking to you, to anyone who is seeing this post, to please help me. Even if it's a penny, please I beg that anything helps. Benji's tumour is growing rapidly and we need as much money as possible. My family hasn't been a stranger to financial crises in the years that have passed, and we unfortunately can not afford this surgery. These funds will be used for all of the costs of the mass removal surgery which include the cost of the IV, and the anesthesia. The total cost of this surgery is $1,400.00. Hopefully and I do pray to God that someone donates before our deadline which is December 15, 2020.  I am in desperate need of help. Truly I am extremely thankful  for listining to me today, and God Bless your hearts~~~
